Onsite forklifts often busy
|
| Priority - The onsite forklift often has a priority to keep the building site running. If the builders need product in place then your lorry has to wait.
This can create a queue and then if you are unlucky to arrive at the back of this waiting line you could have a long wait. Other priority tasks can extend your waiting period, for example a concrete pour taking place could restrict access and stop your truck being unloaded.
Breaks - This problem can be made worse if you lorry arrives when the site goes onto a scheduled / lunch break or outside the normal working hours

No waiting with a Palfinger
|
| Stay in Control - A Palfinger truck mounted forklift keeps you in control. When you arrive at the delivery point the forklift is always ready to unload your truck.
Independent - The Palfinger TMF is not fixed to the delivery vehicle and so can move independently. This means on a busy site you don't need to worry about getting the delivery vehicle close to where the delivery is required. Simply park in a convenient place, both for you and your customer, this could even be off site
Self-Sufficient - Safely parked, your driver can immediately start unloading. |
