Truck Mounted Forklift vs Tail lift and Pallet Truck

Why use a Palfinger truck mounted forklift when a Tail Lift and Pallet truck can also do the job? 

Pallet trucks work great when on a smooth flat surface.  However as the weight of the pallet increases and the surface changes it gets increasingly difficult to move the pallet.  This not only restricts where the pallet can be delivered but also increases the chances of personal injury.

Tail Lifts are also a great unloading solution and widely used system, but there are significant dangers when handling heavy pallets and especially if the truck / trailer is not on completely level ground.  In these circumstances there are significant risks of injury for the driver trying to manipulate the pallet onto the tail lift and a potentially fatal danger if the driver loses control of the pallet off a raised tail lift.  

Oversized pallets are also very difficult to manipulate onto a tail lift, and ultimately there is a limit of pallet size that can be unloaded onto a tail lift.

In these circumstances, a Palfinger truck mounted forklift can be a much better self unloading solution, allowing easy and safe handling of heavy and / or oversized pallets from the truck bed to the floor.  In addition, safely deliver heavy and XL pallets any distance away from the truck, over obstacles (e.g. kerbs), rough ground and soft surfaces.
