If delivering early in the morning, for example, a loud audible reversing alarm can be a nuisance.  Also when operating around animals / horses, and shrill reversing alarm can startle / cause stress.  The Palfinger REV02 silent reverse, allows the operator to switch off the audible alarm and revert to a blue light reverse warning system, therefore still providing a reverse warning without the noise, for appropriate situations.
